The stake has been bought by the company for Rs. 1,63,00,00,000 and the transaction has brought the company at a value of Rs. 7,03,00,00,000. After the successful completion of the deal, Munich Re will hold a stake of 48.75% in the joint venture, while Apollo Hospitals will be left with 51.1% and the remaining 0.15% with the employees. However, the transaction is projected to close by the end of the second quarter of 2016 as regulatory approvals are yet pending on the deal.
