Dental Care Expenses : Reimbursement is done on medical expenses which is incurred due to acute anesthetic treatment of natural tooth or teeth. Accidental Death & Permanent Total Disablement: In case of unfortunate death or permanent total disablement while travelling as a passenger including boarding or alighting from any common carrier, the company compensates the same. Personal Accident: The company compensates the loss if the insured is bodily injured due to an accident resulting in death, permanent total disablement or permanent partial disablement within 12 months from the date of injury. Hospital Daily Allowance: Payment of daily allowance if the insured is hospitalized for beyond the number of specified days as mentioned in the Policy Schedule. Compassionate Visit: The coverage is offered for compassionate Visit ( 2-way) or immediate family member to visit the insured person if such hospitalization exceeds 7 days. In addition to this, reimbursement is done for the return fare of the insured to visit his/her native place in case of immediate family member being hospitalized for more than 7 days. Loss of Passport , travelers cheques, travelling tickets and documents: The company will reimburse the actual expenses that is incurred to obtain duplicate or fresh passport or reasonable cost of replacing, obtaining the documents which have been stolen as well as the tickets are lost. Trip Delay: If due to airline problems, personal employment or natural disasters, the trip is delayed, the insured person also received the compensation for the additional expenses. Hijack Distress Allowance: The company does payment for the allowance in case of hijack of a common carrier for more than a specified number of days. Cosmetic surgery unless the same is necessary as part of treatment for accidents and burns while in abroad. If an insured person is taking part in Naval, Military or Air Force operations, no claim will be entertained. Claims will also not be given arising due to suicide, attempted suicide or willfully self injected injury or illness, mental disorder, anxiety, stress or depression, venereal disease, consumption of alcohol, drug addiction, or any loss arising directly or indirectly from any injury, illness, death, loss, expenses or other liability attributable to HIV and /or any HIV related illness which includes AIDS and/or mutant derivative or variation. No claim will be paid arising out of war whether declared or not, invasion, acts of foreign enemy, hostilities , civil war, rebellion. Revolution, insurrection, military or usurped power or confiscation or nationalization or requisition of or destruction of or damage to property by or under the order of any government or local authority. Nuclear perils. The claim will not cover the medical expenses with respect to experimental, investigational or unproven treatments which are inconsistent or incidental to the diagnosis and treatment of the positive existence or presence of illness for which the insured needs to be admitted in hospital. Claim will also not be entertained if the insured person participates in winter sports, mountaineering, riding or driving in races or rallies, caving or potholing, hunting or equestrian, skew diving or other underwater activity, rafting or canoeing which involves white water rapids, yatching or boating outside coastal water. Also professional sports or any hazardous sports are not included unless otherwise mentioned the plan. No claim will be paid for losses arising directly or indirectly from any manual work or hazardous occupation or engaged in any criminal or any illegal act.
