Injury Guard Plan
This plan covers simple fractures to skin burns at different levels. It provides four varied options to choose from as per the requirement. Eligibility: Minimum age- 18 years and maximum-75 years (6 months-18 years for children). Covers individual and/or family (Self, Spouse, parents and dependent children (up to 2). Policy Details: Lifelong renewal facility .Coverage will be reduced by 50% from the age group 71 yrs& above. The policy will be issued annually. 100% of the Principal sum insured is available to spouse and parents,children will have 50%.
Exclusions
Any pre-existing disease or illness. Expenses due to suicide/ self-inflicted injury, sexually transmitted diseases, mental/nervous disorder, anxiety or depression, Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), Human Immune deficiency Virus (HIV) infection Injuries due to involvement in war, invasion or terrorist activity involvement. Participation in winter sports, sky diving, scuba diving or related sport activities. Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Policy Benefits
No pre medical examination. Accidental Death: Covers for injury resulting in loss of life (within 365 days from the date of injury). Fractures /burns: A percentage of the Principal Sum insured is borne for specific injuries listed. The Injury should take place within 90 Days fromthe Accident. Emergency accident medical expense Coverage: Expenses which are not due to a Pre-existing Condition is borne subject to a limit benefit period as mentioned immediate treatment. Home alteration and vehicle modification benefit- If an Individual suffers one of the following Injuries listed (Accidental Dismemberment and Paralysis Coverage Section) expenses incurred for a wheelchair are covered. Temporary total disability: A weekly expenseduring a period of continuous Temporary Total Disability of the individualresulting from Injury after Elimination Period is borne. Premium Details: Pre-Tax: Post Tax: *The above rates may change. Please check the policy wordings for more details. Renewal Benefits Lifelong renewability: no maximum cover ceasing age in this policy Grace Period of 30 days for renewing the policy, waiting periods as mentioned in the policy wording get reduced by 1 year on every continuous renewal. Sum Insured Enhancement: Any change in benefits or premium (other than due to change in age) will be done with the approval of the IRDA and will be intimated at least 3 months in advance at the time of renewal. Free Look Period: A period of 15 days after date of receipt of policy to review terms and conditions during which insured can cancel it with due refunds. Portability: If the insured wishes to migrate to another Insurer towards renewal, he can draft an application at least 45 days before the date of renewal.
