Details About Premium Annual premium in Rupees Policy Details Grace Period: 15 days grace period is allowed for premium payment in monthly mode and 30 days in other modes. Exclusions In case of suicide committed within 12 months of policy inception only 80% of premiums paid are returned to the nominee if the Life Assured was aged more than 8 years. In case of suicide within 12 months of revival, higher of 80% of premiums paid or acquired Surrender Value is paid if the Life Assured was aged more than 8 years and the policy had acquired a paid-up value.

Survival Benefits @ 20% of the Sum Assured is payable on each policy anniversary when the life assured attains 18, 20 and 22 years. On Maturity, 40% of the base Sum Assured + vested simple reversionary bonuses + Final Additional Bonus, if any, are paid. On death of the life assured before the commencement of risk, the premiums paid are returned. On death after the risk cover has begun, the Sum Assured (SA) on death + vested simple reversionary bonuses + Final Additional Bonus, if any, is payable subject to a minimum of 105% of all premiums paid till death. SA on death will be higher of the basic Sum Assured or 10 times the annual premium. Income tax benefit on the premium paid as per Section 80C and on the claims received as per Section 10(10D) of the Income Tax Act.
