HONDA MOTORCYCLE AND SCOOTER INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED Honda started its India operations in the year 1999 as Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Private Limited, a 100% subsidiary of Honda Motor Company Ltd Japan. It has fast achieved strides in the Indian market and is the second largest two wheeler manufacturer in the country. Honda currently has three operational plants in the country with first of them being located at Manesar in Gurgaon (Haryana) and second of them which is the latest is located at Tapukara in Rajasthan. Motorcycles HONDA DREAM NEO: The bike is embellished with advance technology aimed to provide better performance in terms of efficiency. It is available in three variants with base model offering kick start and spoke wheels while the advance (premium) version offers button start and alloy wheels. HONDA CD 110 DREAM:Honda CD 110 Dream is the third addition in the Dream motorcycle Series by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI). Honda CD 110 is the most affordable model among Hondas Dream series of commuter motorcycles. This new model is available in three colours and variants- black with red stripes, black with blue stripes and black grey stripes. HONDA DREAM YUGA:Honda Dream Yuga is a low-cost 109 cc single-cylinder motorcycle manufactured in 2012. It is billed as the least expensive Honda currently produced and the least expensive Honda ever made, adjusting for inflation. HONDA CB SHINE: Honda CB Shine is a 125cc commuter motorcycle developed by Honda for the mass market segment. HONDA CB TRIGGER:Honda CB Trigger is a new motorcycle from the Honda stable in the crowded 150cc segment in India. The bike is loaded with quality features and advanced technology that improves the riding quality in a great way. Having power of 150cc engine, this bike goes smoothly on all types of places. HONDA CB TWISTER: Honda CB Twister was launched in 2010 keeping in growing entry level motorcycle segment in mind. Latest News about Honda Two Wheeler Honda Launches CB Shine SP 2018 Honda has recently announced the launch of 2018 CB Shine SP which is priced at Rs. 64, 518 for its disc variant and Rs. 62,032 for the drum variant. A CBS variant of Honda Shine SP is also on the platter and can be bought for Rs. 66, 508. To give things a proper position, the older variant of CB Shine SP is now being retailed at Rs. 59,901. Apart from the minor changes in the price of the bike, the mechanism of the bike has been kept unchanged. Talking about the tweaks and updates, Honda 2018 CB Shine SP now has extended shrouds along with a revised tank design and new body decals. Apart from all the other basics, the bike now includes a clock and service indicator in its semi-digital instrument. Honda 2018 CB Shine SP (base variant) is set to butt heads with 2018 Bajaj Discover 125, which is being sold for Rs 53,171 (ex. Delhi showroom), and the drum brake variant is contending against Hero Glamour which is priced at Rs 59,946 (ex. Delhi Showroom). However, according to some experts, for this price rise of over Rs.2000, Honda should have incorporated a few more features, especially when Bajaj Discover 125 produces the same amount of power and also has an add-on benefit of LED DRL at a more economical price.
